The Co-op Community Centre, formerly known as the Pomeroy Sport Centre, is one of Northern British Columbia’s premier recreation and event facilities, serving as a hub for sport, wellness, community events, and year-round activity in Fort St. John. With more than 140,000 square feet of event space, the facility provides opportunities for recreation, competitive sport, community gatherings, cultural events, trade shows, and more.

The first floor features two NHL-sized ice rinks, a concession, skate sharpening vendor, 12 dressing rooms, a meeting room, and two fitness spaces. It is also home to the Sport Celebration Wall, recognizing the achievements and contributions of local athletes, teams, builders, and volunteers.

The second floor features a meeting room, spin studio, and one of only three indoor Olympic-sized long-track speed skating ovals in Canada, alongside facilities in Calgary and Quebec City. Built on a concrete base, the oval can be converted during the non-ice season to provide approximately 60,000 square feet of additional event space.

The third floor is home to the NVT Logistics Walking Track, a 340-metre indoor walking track that is free for the public to enjoy. Lockers are available alongside the track for visitors to use at no charge when they bring their own lock.

During the non-ice season, the facility's ice surfaces can be removed to accommodate major sporting and cultural events, trade shows, community gatherings, and other activities.

The Co-op Community Centre also includes two fitness areas available for rent by non-profit organizations, sport groups, personal trainers, and commercial users.
