Rentals

To ensure fair and equitable facility use, the City distributes available space according to Council Policy No. 117 - Recreation Facility Allocation Policy [PDF/596KB]. Unallocated time slots and cancelled bookings are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Council sets rental rates through the Community Services Fees and Charges Bylaw [PDF/375KB].

Special Event Permits 

There are many events, festivals, celebrations, games and gatherings in Fort St. John that are classified as special events. Any event or activity occurring on municipal property (green spaces, parks, streets, sidewalks and parking lots) will need to submit a permit application. If your organization is looking to host a special event on municipal land, this is your first stop!  The Facility Allocation Clerk will assist you in obtaining and providing the appropriate documentation to ensure your event will go without a hitch. Remember, permit applications should be submitted a minimum of 6 weeks before the event.

Fieldhouse Parties

Come bounce with us at the Kids Arena Fieldhouse for your upcoming celebration! Included in this package you will choose 2 bouncers, a variety of sports equipment, pick out games and play options, and lots of energy-burning running space.

 Birthday packages includes one hour use of pitch time for up to 25 children followed by one hour use of the upstairs meeting room for cake and presents. Don't forget to bring your indoor shoes or socks and a water bottle!

Pool Parties

Make a splash at the North Peace Leisure Pool for your next special event!  Included in this package is 2 hours in the meeting room, a party leader in the water for the last 30 minutes of your rental time and swim admission before, during and after. Also includes table set up for 20, paper table covers, crayons, stickers and balloons.

Located at the Pomeroy Sport Centre

The Pomeroy Sport Centre has one rentable meeting room, the T & T Communications Meeting Room, on the first floor available.
