Community Connections Benefit Program

The North Peace Community Foundation and the City of Fort St. John have partnered with ConocoPhillips to help you strengthen your neighborhood through the Community Connections Benefit Program. This grassroots microgrant program is available to residents of Fort St. John to help financially support their efforts to build community in their own neighbourhoods to a maximum of $500 per project/event.

In 2022, the City and the Foundation successfully piloted what was then called Neighbourhood Small Grants and supported 3 ambitious local project leaders with inspired neighbourhood-based initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Do you have a great idea for a neighbourhood-based project that would create connections in our community?

The Foundation is looking to support projects or events that meet the following criteria:

  • Encourage inclusion
  • Foster pride
  • Create lasting social connections within neighbourhoods

APPLY NOW through the North Peace Community Foundation! Applicants will be asked to submit a rough budget for their proposed project/event and must be residents of Fort St. John. Submissions may be funded up to a maximum of $500 per project/event.
