Winter Fest Activity Micro Grants

The City of Fort St. John, with community partners, is offering Micro Grants up to $1,200 to support independently organized Winter Fest Activities throughout February 2027.

From the Family Day long weekend to events across the city and surrounding area all month, Winter Fest is full of opportunities — your ideas and participation will make it unforgettable!

Why Participate?

Hosting a Winter Fest activity is a great way to:

  • Bring fresh ideas to life with micro grant support

All funded activities will be featured in the official Winter Fest Schedule and promoted on the City’s website, social media, and print materials.

  • A copy of your current Liability Insurance Certificate (if you do not have this document, note you will need to obtain a minimum of $2 million in liability insurance by the activity date).
  • A copy of your Proposed Activity Budget, outlining how funds will be used (required now).

By submitting this application, you understand that your organization is not guaranteed funding. All applications will be evaluated and awarded based on the community benefit evaluation criteria, with awards ranging from $200 to $1,000.
