Voting in an election is one of the most important things a citizen can do as it strengthens our democracy, makes us a stronger community and ensures all voices are heard in government. Best of all, voting takes only a few minutes, every four years.

2202 Local Government General Election

October 15, 2022, was local government election day in British Columbia, with the new Council taking the Oath of Office on November 7, 2022, in Council Chambers.

There were three candidates for one Mayor position and ten for six Councillor positions.
