Starting June 8, contracted crews are flushing sewer mains near Whispering Winds and Panorama Ridge areas (between 106 and 115 avenues and 86 and 92 streets) to help protect public health and keep pipelines functioning properly. They will be working in the area for the next few weeks, undertaking inspections of the sewer mains.
Additionally, regular flushing prevents build-up, blockages, and helps maintain our sewer system.
What to Expect:
- Toilets, sinks, and appliances can still be used
- Keep toilet lids closed & sink drains plugged when not in use
- Possible brief odours (open windows & run water if needed)
- Only high-pressure water is used (no chemicals)
