City Alert
Starting July 2, contracted crews are flushing sewer mains in the 111 Avenue near Peace River Road and Centennial Park / Downtown area (orange highlighted area) to help protect public health and keep pipelines functioning properly. They will be in the area for the next couple of weeks working, in advance of undertaking inspections of the sewer mains.

Additionally, regular flushing prevents build up, blockages, and helps maintain our sewer system.
What to Expect:
- Toilets, sinks, and appliances can still be used
- Keep toilet lids closed & sink drains plugged when not in use
- Possible brief odours (open windows & run water if needed)
- Only high-pressure water is used (no chemicals)
