Community Events
The Fort St. John Royal Canadian Legion Branch 102 invites the community to its annual Remembrance Day Parade and Service. The parade will begin at the Cenotaph, proceed past the Legion to City Hall, and return for an outdoor ceremony.
Following the outdoor service, an indoor ceremony will be held at the Legion. Attendees are welcome to stay and enjoy a full day of activities, including horse races, a turkey shoot, dinner, and more.
All ages are welcome.
Road Closures
Starting at 9:30 am, road closures will be in effect along the parade route [PDF/3.3MB]:
- 105 Avenue between 98 and 102 streets
- 102 Street between 104 and 106 avenues
- 100 Street between 104 and 108 avenues
- 107 Avenue between 98 and 100 streets
- 106 Avenue between 98 and 100 streets
Road closures are expected to last until noon.
Free BC Transit
Free BC Transit service will operate on a reduced schedule on Tuesday, November 11, from 8 am to 5 pm.
