Mail Ballot Voting

The City of Fort St. John provides all eligible electors the opportunity to vote by mail ballot.

Mail ballot packages will be distributed as soon as ballots are available (tentatively late September).

Please confirm that all of the following statements apply to you:

All boxes must be checked to submit a mail ballot request. If one of these doesn't apply, you are not eligible to vote in the General Local Election.

The City of Fort St. John is committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information you provide to us is collected pursuant to 26(c) and 26(e) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act for the purpose of administering City services.

Returning Your Completed Mail Ballot

Instructions for completing and returning your mail ballot will be included with the package.

To be counted, your completed mail ballot MUST be:

  • received by the Chief Election Officer by 4 pm on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Fort St. John City Hall (10631 100 Street), or
  • hand delivered to the Chief Election Officer by 8 pm on General Voting Day on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Fort St. John Legion (10103 105 Avenue)

Electors are responsible for allowing sufficient time for delivery if returning their ballot by mail or courier.
