The City of Fort St. John provides all eligible electors the opportunity to vote by mail ballot.
Mail ballot packages will be distributed as soon as ballots are available (tentatively late September).

Electors may request a mail ballot package by October 9, 2026:
- Email the Chief Election Officer
- Call the Chief Election Officer at 250-787-5796
- Completing the online Mail Ballot Request Form below

Returning Your Completed Mail Ballot
Instructions for completing and returning your mail ballot will be included with the package.
To be counted, your completed mail ballot MUST be:
- received by the Chief Election Officer by 4 pm on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Fort St. John City Hall (10631 100 Street), or
- hand delivered to the Chief Election Officer by 8 pm on General Voting Day on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Fort St. John Legion (10103 105 Avenue)
Electors are responsible for allowing sufficient time for delivery if returning their ballot by mail or courier.
