The proposed bylaw amendments affect 7408 Alaska Rd N, legally described as: Lot 4 Section 29 Township 83 Range 18 West of the 6th Meridian Peace River District Plan 24742.
The applicant is seeking to amend the Zoning for the property located at 7408 Alaska Rd North to allow for a Tank Farm, as defined in the bylaw, as an accessory use on this parcel.
The project is set for 3 tanks, with expansion to 7, and will be capped as an accessory use at 16 tanks. There will be an imposed 200m setback from the Tank Farm and the North Boundary of property to separate it from future development. If amended, the existing card lock and convenience store will be defined as Bulk Fuel Sales and will help support local retail sales of fuel, lubricants and accessories to support the agricultural community.
