Council's Response Committee on Housing and Emergency Shelter (CRCHES) is actively collaborating with community partners to develop long-term, sustainable solutions to address homelessness in Fort St. John. The Committee, comprising Councillors Bolin, Klassen, and MacDougall, recently met with Staff Sergeant Watson and Sergeant Croll, two experienced RCMP officers who are long-term community residents.

Remembrance Day Parade and Service

The Fort St. John Royal Canadian Legion Branch 102 is hosting the annual Remembrance Day Parade and Service on Monday, November 11, 2024. The parade will start at 10:30 am from the Cenotaph on 102 Street and 105 Avenue, marching past the Royal Canadian Legion to City Hall and returning to the Cenotaph.

City launches online water credit purchasing

The City of Fort St. John is launching its new online platform for purchasing bulk water credits following recent upgrades to the bulk water system. This service lets residential customers purchase water credits easily and securely from anywhere using a mobile device or computer.
