    The World's Invitational Gold Panning Championships are taking place August 1st - 3rd at Peace Island Park. 

    The weekend kicks off with a Parade down Main Street in Taylor on Friday, August 1st, and is open to anyone to register. 

    This family-friendly event offers a food and vendor market, pony rides, claim staking, metal detecting, a bannock baking competition, and, of course, gold panning! Questions? Call the Community Services Hub at 250-789-2828.
