Women have played a vital role in our community’s history but often take a back seat to men. Learn about eleven women from different backgrounds, the challenges they faced, and the impact they had on the history of the North Peace. From founding Fort St. John Friendship Society member Christine Auger to restauranteur Queenie Yipp, these women built a welcoming community. The tour is $10 and can be paid at the gate of the cemetery prior to the tour. This is not a scary tour! We share stories (humorous, informative, and sometimes sad) about these people while standing by their graves.
