The City of Fort St. John is issuing this notice to advise the design and construction communities that the City, together with current IPD team members Chandos Construction LP and HCMA Architecture + Design, intends to initiate an open, competitive procurement process to engage qualified and experienced Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) partners through a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a new Aquatics Facility.
The partners proposed to be procured during this RFP phase are as follows:
- Structural Engineering Consultant
- Structural Steel Trade Partner
- Mechanical Engineering Consultant
- Mechanical Trade Partner (excluding Pool Scope that will be procured later)
- Electrical Engineering Consultant
- Electrical Trade Partner
- Civil Engineering Consultant
The competitive solicitation document will be posted on or about May 21, 2026, on the City's tendering website.
