Be someone who can make a difference!
Suicide prevention is a community effort, and we all have a role to play. Whether you're a parent, caregiver, student, volunteer, professional, or simply someone who cares about others, you can help make our community safer and more supportive.
Join us for LivingWorks safeTALK: Suicide Alertness & Life Promotion Training, a half-day workshop that will help you recognize when someone may be having thoughts of suicide, learn how to ask about it, and connect them with appropriate support.
You don't need to be a mental health professional to make a difference. Sometimes, knowing what to look for and what to do next can be an important first step in helping someone get the support they need.
Location: UNBC Peace Liard--Northern Lights College, Fort St. John campus
