*FROST-PROOF GARDENING with Kristen Raney of Shifting Roots**

Are you tired of gardening advice that seems to be written for people who don’t have to deal with -30°C winters and short growing seasons?

Join the North Peace Horticultural Society for a special evening with Kristen Raney of Shifting Roots, a gardener, flower farmer and creator who specializes in finding practical solutions for growing in cold climates.

Kristen knows what it’s like to love gardening while living in a northern growing zone. Her own gardening journey began with the frustration of discovering that many of the beautiful gardens and plants featured in gardening magazines simply wouldn't survive where she lived.

That experience inspired her to create **Shifting Roots**, where her gardening advice is focused on helping northern gardeners grow something beautiful—even with short growing seasons and long, cold winters.

     What you can expect:
    • Practical gardening advice for cold climates
    • Ideas for making the most of a short growing season
    • Tips for choosing plants that can actually thrive in our northern conditions
    • Inspiration for growing beautiful gardens despite the challenges of our climate
    • A chance to learn from someone who gardens and flower farms in a Zone 3 climate

Whether you're an experienced gardener or still figuring out what will survive in your garden, this evening is for you!

Come learn, get inspired, and discover that you really can grow beautiful things in the North.
