Notice - Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 2633, 2026

In accordance with Section 227 of the Community Charter, public notice is
given that the City of Fort St. John Council will consider adopting Permissive
Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 2633, 2026 at their Regular Meeting on Monday,
May 11, 2026 at 3 pm in Council Chambers inside City Hall (10631 100 Street,
Fort St. John, BC).

City of Fort St. John (North Peace Search and Rescue Society Lease
Agreement) Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 2633, 2026 exempts the
lands and improvements of roll numbers 9820.050 (civic address: 10908 100
Avenue). The exemption is for the taxation years of 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030,
and 2031. The estimated amount that would be imposed on the property if
not exempt is approximately $35,415.50 annually.
