Public Notice
In accordance with Sections 24 and 26 of the Community Charter, public notice is given that the City of Fort St. John intends to lease land to the North Peace Search and Rescue Society. This lease is below market value, thereby providing assistance to the Society. The lands are legally described as Lot 1 Section 1, Township 84, Range 19, West of the 6th Meridian, Peace River Land District, Plan EPP10990 (civic address 10908 100 Avenue) for a nominal rent of $120 per year ($10 per month) plus applicable GST.
The Lease Agreement is for a 5-year term, beginning on March 1, 2026, and terminating on February 28, 2031.
