FREE Scavenger Hunt at the Museum

This Winter Fest weekend, we are connecting families and visitors with our rich food heritage through our “I’m Hungry!” Scavenger Hunt and Open House. From pemmican to Chinese food and from transporting food to growing crops, almost all of the exhibits in the museum can be connected to food and drink.

Participants will tour the museum with their full-colour, three-page scavenger hunt looking for photographs, documents, and artefacts related to food and drink. They’ll learn fun facts about food and read short local stories about these items. Participants who finish the scavenger hunt will get to choose a prize. Our Open House will provide plenty of time for families, couples, seniors, and individuals to explore the museum at their own pace (with or without a scavenger hunt).
