Want to explore the great outdoors with a fun twist?
Join Tiffany from Peak Wyld Co. For a guided adventure through one of Fort St. John’s favourite trail systems. Dress up with glow sticks, neon outfits, or your best light-up accessories! This is a guided group activity along a pre-designed trail at Kin Park. Tiffany is an experienced guide that can teach you the basics for snowshoe success! Parking for this event will be in the lot next to the outdoor rinks. Tiffany will meet participants under the pavilion (near the outdoor leisure ice) off of 96 street.
Snowshoe rentals are available from the Fort St. John Visitor Centre (inside the Pomeroy Sport Centre) for free during Winter Fest month! They are available on a first come first serve basis and fit school ages children to adults.
Snowshoes are also available to sign out for free from the Fort St. John Public Library.
Participants may use their own snowshoes if they have them.
Participants should dress for the weather (Face cover, gloves, warm winter wear etc.). Feel free to bring your headlamp, flashlights, or something that glows! Please leave your pets at home.
This tour is weather dependent and will be cancelled if temperatures reach -25 or lower.
In the event of no snow, the tour may be cancelled.
