Are you interested in the future of energy in Fort St. John?

Share your thoughts and ideas for Fort St. John’s energy future at a community conversation convened by the Northern Regional Energy Dialogues Project (NRED) and the Peace River Regional District.

NRED is working alongside communities and First Nations across northern BC to identify and advance research that responds to place-based interests, needs, and opportunities, in support of community-led energy futures.

During this first phase of the project, we are hosting community-level conversations across northern BC to amplify the voices of northern communities. These conversations focus on identifying local energy priorities, barriers, and potential pathways forward, and will inform future regional energy dialogues that support peer learning, collaboration, and capacity-building in the North.

This conversation will build on the Peace River Regional Climate Resiliency Plan, exploring how to advance the priorities it identifies—alongside other strategies for strengthening community-led energy planning in Fort St. John.

Food and refreshments will be provided!
