The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (C.U.P.W.) has moved from a full, national strike to rotating strikes. Canada Post advises that during rotating strikes, it will accept, process and deliver mail and parcels in unaffected areas, but that customers can still expect mail delivery delays.
The City of Fort St. John reminds community members that they are still responsible for submitting all time-sensitive payments and applications on time. Items received late are subject to penalty or interest.

Development Permit Applications & Public Hearing Notices
Statutory notice of Public Hearings will be fulfilled by posting signs on site, notice on the City’s website and social media channels, and others as necessary to fulfill legislated requirements. The City will also consider alternative delivery methods to ensure residents are provided notice, as needed.
