NVT Logistics renews walking track sponsorship for another 15 years

NVT Logistics, formerly known as Northern Vac Services, has reaffirmed its commitment to community wellness by renewing its sponsorship of the indoor walking track for another 15 years.

The long‑term renewal ensures the walking track remains an accessible, inclusive space where residents of all ages and abilities can stay active year‑round, particularly during the winter months.

“This 15‑year renewal is a powerful example of long‑term community commitment,” said Mayor Hansen. “Thanks to NVT Logistics’ continued support, our walking track remains a welcoming and accessible space that promotes active living, connection, and well-being. Investments like this create lasting benefits for our community.”

The indoor walking and running track receives approximately 27,000 visits each year, providing a safe, free option for recreation, rehabilitation, and social connection. Support from community partners like NVT Logistics helps offset operational costs and ensures the facility continues to meet community needs.

You are invited to join NVT Logistics and City staff on the walking track April 7 from 5 pm to 7 pm to celebrate this sponsorship renewal.
