City Announces 2025 Community Award Winners

The City of Fort St. John announced the winners of the 2025 Community Awards during the 18th Annual Community Awards Ceremony at the Moose FM Block Party on Saturday, September 6.

These awards celebrate the outstanding contributions of youth, individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations that make Fort St. John a vibrant and caring community. This year’s winners exemplify the spirit of service, leadership, and community pride:

  • Citizen of the Year Award – Margaret and Jim Little
  • Youth Award – Bailey Gauvin-Mayes
  • Business Award – Elevate Youth
  • Non-Profit Award – Fort St. John Hospital Auxiliary

“Each of these recipients has made a lasting impact on our community,” said Mayor Lilia Hansen. "We congratulate all the nominees for their dedication to Fort St. John and for playing such an important role in shaping the heart of our community."
