Gurdeep Pandher to headline Community Awards

The City of Fort St. John will be welcoming Gurdeep Pandher to Fort St. John as the Keynote Speaker at the 15th Annual Community Awards to be held on May 26, 2022. This year’s theme is We ♥ Fort St. John.
“We are excited to have Gurdeep join us in Fort St. John to celebrate and honour the individuals, groups and businesses whose talents, dedication and generosity have contributed greatly to life in our community. Through his Bhangra dancing videos, he shares messages of hope, positivity, and inclusivity to communities from coast to coast to coast,” stated Mayor Lori Ackerman.
Gurdeep was born in India before moving to Canada in 2006, eventually settling in Whitehorse and becoming a Canadian Citizen in 2011. Millions worldwide have viewed his videos, and his work has been featured on national and international platforms showcasing Canada’s multiculturalism.
