As a senior accounting role in the Finance Department, the Capital Asset Analyst is responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the tangible capital asset recording and reporting system in compliance with the Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB) Tangible Capital Assets (TCA) 3150. The position is responsible to maintain the asset inventory, value the assets, determine depreciation methods, follow and adjust policies and procedures as required to meet the changing legislation. The Capital Asset Analyst will provide analysis and recommendations regarding issues that may have a financial impact on the City. |
