Yes it could. The City may do any or all of the following:
- Proceed to register a Bylaw Contravention charge on Title.
- Notify the financial institutions, insurance companies, security companies and CMHC.
- Proceed with fines for offences as listed in the Zoning Bylaw.
This could impact future sale of the property, the ability to obtain a mortgage, or invalidate aspects of the property insurance.
