Mobile Bylaw - Request for Proposals

With a population of 21,000 and growing, Fort St. John is the largest city in Northeastern BC and also the largest city in British Columbia situated along the world-famous Alaska Highway. Fort St John has a large resource base of oil, natural gas, forestry and agriculture and a youthful population who are, on average, 8.8 years younger than the average population in the rest of the province. The Bylaw Department is comprised of three staff members who use a variety of manual processes to carry out all Bylaw business processes.

The City of Fort St. John is seeking to mobilize the Bylaw staff with tablets that can access internal City systems and the internet, hand held printers, and software that integrates with Great Plains to manage all Bylaw business processes.
