Head down to the Fort St John Cemetery (located on 100th ave) for a guided cemetery tour hosted by the Fort St John North Peace Museum. From construction workers to entrepreneurs to ambulance drivers, the cemetery is full of people who worked and lived along the highway. This is not a scary tour! We share stories (humorous, informative, and sometimes sad) about these people and the history of the highway while standing by their graves. It is not a ghost tour!
Hear all sorts of lost stories of Fort St. John’s past and how our main cemetery came to take the layout it has today. Learn about cemetery mysteries such as the grounds keeper who ran away with the cemetery map!
The tour is at 7:00 pm. There will be running 2 tours every 45 minutes and it will end at 8:30pm Tickets are $10 and can be paid at the gate of the cemetery prior to the tour. This is the only time the Alaska Highway edition will be presented this summer
