You are invited to join us in a celebration of the arts at the North Peace Cultural Centre this year on Friday June 9th. Join us for a cocktail hour, and the opening of Peace Gallery Norths June art exhibit “Our Home and Native Land”. The Bright Nights Gala begins our celebration of arts in the community by highlighting local artists and performers. We are excited to bring back artists who have exploded over the world wide scene, which include tap dancer Brock Jellison, pianist and composer Peter-Anthony Togni, country singer Karee J Phillips, and modern dancer Shannon May. Talent in piano, dance, music, and collaborations between local arists, including Tom Cole, Studio 2 Stage Dance Academy, Tanisha Ray, Peace Fusion Dance Company, Wesley Phan, and many more will fill in the rest of the evening. The 25th anniversary of the North Peace Cultural Centre will take you through the ages from 1867, 1942, to 1992, as we celebrate Canada, The Alaska Highway, and our very own Cultural Centre.
Events being held include:
