Patient Voices Network (PVN) is a community of BC patients, family members, and care givers who are committed to working closely with health care leaders and decision-makers at the local, regional, and provincial level to ensure that the patient’s experience and perspective is heard in health care re-design and improvement initiatives. We believe that, through a commitment to authentic patient and public engagement, PVN volunteers can contribute to meaningful, lasting improvement to our system. If this is something that you or someone you know is interested in being a part of, we will be hosting a free Orientation Session for new volunteers in Fort St. John.
When: Thursday, January 19th 2017, 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Where: North Peace Senior's Housing Society - 9816 108 Ave
Who: Any BC resident who has experienced our health care system (either directly or in support of someone else) and is interested in sharing their experiences and expertise to improve the care provided going forwards.
If you are interested in attending this free orientation session, please go to our website (www.patientvoicesbc.ca/patient-partners/) and sign up as a volunteer. You must register prior to attending this orientation session. After signing up, you will be contacted by an Engagement Leader to discuss this session in more detail.
If you would like more info about PVN in general or this session in particular, please visit our website (www.patientvoicesbc.ca) or contact Anthony Gagne (firstname.lastname@example.org), Engagement Leader for the Northern Interior and Northeast.
