The National Lifeguard - Pool certification is designed to develop the fundamental values, judgment, knowledge, skills and fitness required by lifeguards. This course emphasizes the life guarding skills, principles and practices, and the decision-making processes which will assist the lifeguard to provide effective safety supervision in swimming pool environments.
- Proof of Standard First Aid with CPR-C or Aquatic Emergency Care MUST be shown on the first day of the course.
- Bronze Cross
- 16 years of age by the last day of the course
Please note: Emergency First Aid and Occupational First Aid Level 1 are NOT equivalent to Standard First Aid. Occupational First Aid Level 2 & 3 meet the Standard First Aid prerequisite.
IMPORTANT: Admittance to this course will be denied if prerequisites are not met and no refund will be given. Please arrive to class with your original (no photocopies) certification documentation and government issued photo ID.
